Love can heal and fix everything
At the dining table, Mum was still talking to Rose, William and Daisy about who broke the glass. Looking at the orchids and the broken glass, Mum continued to show her patience and gentleness. With a pair of trusting eyes, she was putting her trust and faith onto her children.   “I was playing with my soldiers,” William said. “It wasn’t me,” he declared.   Rose, William and Mum looked at Fluffy. Surely a cat could not express itself by talking, it could only miaow, and purr. “Fluffy, you broke the glass!” Rose scolded fiercely.   Fluffy looked innocent and miaowed again. The room echoed with the miaow of Fluffy. Suddenly, Daisy said softly, “It wasn’t Fluffy. I broke the glass. I’m sorry, Mummy.” William and Rose were shocked. Except for Mum, she smiled and kissed Daisy.   “Mummy… aren’t you upset?” Daisy asked hesitantly. Mum patted Daisy’s shoulder and held her close. Then Mum said, “No, I’m actually very happy because you told the truth.” William and Rose knew how forgiving Mum was while Daisy understood how precious it was to tell the truth. They all smiled at one another warmly.   Message Love always trusts. Love tells the truth.   Bible verse: Lord God, you who are always merciful and tender-hearted, slow to anger, always loving, always loyal.(Psalm 86 : 15)   Action Have you hid yourself in the corner after doing something bad? May you have the courage to say, “I’m sorry!” Forgiveness brings healing. Love is not easily angered
Whenever you want somebody to chat with, play with or tell jokes, you’ve got ‘somebody’ right at home. Siblings are the ones being with you all the time.   Like many of us do, Rose has two siblings, Daisy and William. Rose is a talented artist.   One day, she was drawing a picture of the nature. When she had finished her work, she shared it with her siblings. Daisy was amazed at the beautiful picture. The flowers looked real and the bees were cute. Hearing the conversation, William couldn’t wait to take a look at the artwork. When he tried to take the drawing from Daisy, he accidentally tore it into two. Rose’s face turned red immediately. Knowing that he had done something wrong, William apologized to Rose. Rose was still angry so she yelled at William. Soon, Rose calmed herself down. She remembered that William chatted with her whenever she needed someone to talk to. She remembered that William played with her in their spare time. She remembered that William told her jokes to cheer her up when she was upset.   Rose remembers that William loves her. She is not angry anymore. She says sorry to William for being emotional.   Bible verse: Be quick to listen but slow to speak and slow to rouse your temper; God's righteousness is never served by man's anger. (James 1:19-20)   Message Love is the purest and greatest power. God is love. Everything He does is permeated by love. Think about the power of love when you are angry. We can learn to forgive.   Glossary Talented (adjective) : having a natural ability to do something well 有才華的 Apologize (verb) : to tell someone that you are sorry 道歉   The story is taken from CEO Project 1.0 – Love (Level 1) Unit 8: Rose is angry

Love is never rude and selfish (1 Cor. 13:5)
Have you ever wondered what it truly means to be a good friend? How can we ensure that everyone feels included and valued in our friendship and activities? In this passage, we explore the themes of friendship, empathy, and inclusivity.   Lily, Rose, and Daisy are discussing about whether they should ride bicycles. Lily and Rose are excited about riding, but Daisy doesn't have a bicycler. Lily and Rose tease Daisy, saying that they win because they outnumbered her. While Lily and Rose are having fun, Daisy feels left out. However, when their mom asks Rose if she would like to be excluded from a family holiday, Rose realises what she and Lily did was wrong. Rose apologises to Daisy and suggests playing a game that all of them enjoy.   After reading the story, children of Sau Mau Ping Catholic Primary School were inspired by the themes of friendship, empathy, and inclusivity.
