How would you react if you were Charles?
Angus, Billy and Charles have been best friends since Primary One. They have been in the same class till now, a total of 8 years which is not a short time at all. They address themselves as the ABC Team, according to the alphabets(字母)of their names. Everyone can tell the three boys are inseparable(不能分隔).  The class teacher always reshuffles(重新安排) the seat plan every two months, but no matter where the boys sit, they still glue together at work and at play. In November, Danny and Charles were assigned to sit as a pair, slowly but surely they both find each other very approachable(易親近的)and helpful. They started talking more and now they even do their homework together. Danny is good at English and Charles has a mind for Mathematics, they help each other out. Yet, this relationship is not picture-perfect.  Angus and Billy are growing more and more irritable(變得惱火), they think Danny has stolen away their best friend, the alliance(結盟) formed long ago is now broken. They request Charles to give Danny the cold shoulder(故意冷落).  p.p1 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; font: 12.0px Impact; min-height: 15.0px} p.p2 {margin: 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px 0.0px; text-align: justify; line-height: 15.1px; font: 15.0px Impact; color: #2d2829} span.s1 {font: 12.0px Impact; color: #000000}  How would you react if you were Charles?  • Since Angus and Billy are so ignorant(無知)and they view the situation in total incomprehension(不理解),why not just break away from them and find companionship with Danny? Danny is clever and is no doubt a helpful tutor(輔導老師).  • Share with Angus and Billy the strengths and shortcomings(缺點)of Danny, allow them to express both positive and negative comments, do not argue. Even if they do not think much of Danny, ask them to let him join the group for lunch, perhaps suggest the possibility of forming an ABCD Team.
