Everyone has the right to life
Once upon a time, there was an elegant and beautiful butterfly named Beauty. She liked buzzing around the garden and playing with charming flowers. She refused to play with other butterfles which were not beautiful. She would never stop by the small unattractive flowers.   One day, Beauty met another butterfly named Mercy. As Beauty approached Mercy, she found that Mercy was crying. ‘Why are you crying?’ Beauty wondered and asked. Mercy answered, ‘Daisy starts wilting, She is going to die.’ Daisy was a tiny white flower which was unattractive. In Beauty's mind, Daisy was not important. It was insignificant as it could not make the garden more beautiful. Beauty did not understand why Mercy cared so much about this little flower. Mercy was deeply concerned and explained to Beauty that in God's eyes, Daisy was his beloved creation. And God saw everything that he had made was very good. Though Daisy was small and unattractive, she helped to provide nectar every day and her life was precious. Remembering a Bible verse, "For God everything is possible" (Matthew 19:26), Beauty and Mercy prayed together.   Day after day, Mercy and Beauty prayed and cared for Daisy. Miraculously, Daisy's petals began to regain their vibrancy, and she stood tall once again, flourishing with renewed life. The garden rejoiced and celebrated.   Message In God's eyes, all his creations are good and precious. Being equal, we should treat all life well with love and humanity. God creates everyone in His image.
Everyone is special, everyone is loved.
The story in this unit tackles themes of diversity, individual preferences and their expression. Anna and Rose each have their own preferred colours. Anna readily shares her opinion on the colour she is wearing, saying “I love orange!” loudly, and with pride after being asked by Rose about her choice of dress.   A potential conflict arises when Fred shouts out that he likes green and blue. This is quickly defused by the teacher, who wisely reassures the students that, “It is okay to like different colours. God made us all different. God still loves us all!”   Message God creates everyone in His image. Everyone is special, everyone is loved. Diversity and the celebration of individual differences are essential features of our humanity. It is important to encourage the expression of these differences without conflict. The Unbreakable Bond
Once upon a time, there was a family who found their happiness in their strong bond and their shared belief in God's words. The family consisted of a loving husband and wife, who were devoted parents to their children. They knew that together, they could overcome any challenge that came their way.   One day, a mean man came and tried to make the family unhappy. He shouted, ‘I will make your house smaller!’ But the family didn't get scared. They smiled and said, ‘If our house is smaller, we will be closer together, making us even happier!’   The mean man didn't give up. He shouted again, ‘I will take away your food!’ But the family still smiled. They said, ‘If we have less food, we will share what we have. We will take care of each other and be strong together!’   The mean man got angrier and shouted again, ‘I will take away everything that is green!’ But the family remained happy. They said, ‘Even if there is no green, we can mix blue and yellow to make green. We will create our own beauty and be thankful for the simple things.’   The mean man was so mad because the family didn't get upset. He couldn't break their happiness no matter what he tried. He gave up and went away in defeat.   The family members continued to love each other and follow God's teachings. Their love and unity became a light for others to see and follow.   Message A loving and united family, guided by faith and values, can overcome any challenge and find happiness in even the most difficult circumstances.   Bible verse “How good, how delightful it is for all to live together like brothers.” ( Psalm 133:1)   Action Create a family gratitude wall.
