What is the meaning of this word PENTECOST ?

In Greek, it means 50.

What is this feast all about?

This feast of Pentecost is a very important and wonderful feast marking the coming of the Holy Spirit on the Apostles in the Upper Room. If you remember your Gospel story, after Jesus was crucified and killed by the leaders of the Jews, the Apostles ran away and hid themselves for fear of being caught by these Jewish leaders.

Much is used to describe something you cannot count. It is something “abstract”, for example, much poverty (being poor), much energy (being full of life), much strength (being strong), much waste, much cheating, much goodness.

It is also for collective nouns, for example, much food (many things to eat), much money (dollars and cents), much fun (games to enjoy).
