English writer Samuel Johnson once wrote, "When a man is tired of London, he is tired of life." This is not an exaggeration（誇張）as there is really plenty to see and experience in London.
When I was travelling in London last October, I visited Buckingham Palace, the Queen's official residence（住所）where I watched the Changing of the Guard ceremony. I also took pictures in front of iconic（標誌性的）spots like the Palace of Westminster, Big Ben and Tower Bridge.
There are a multitude（許多）of museums and art galleries in London. The most popular one is the British Museum, exhibiting 8 million objects from all continents including the ancient mummies and the Parthenon sculptures. Other interesting museums include the Victoria and Albert Museum, the Natural History Museum and the Sherlock Holmes Museum. Art lovers can also visit the National Gallery, Tate Modern or Tate Britain to take a look at the wide collection of masterpieces（名作）.
If you are hungry, you can go to Borough Market for delicious food. If you want to go shopping, you can go to Harrods, the biggest department store in Europe. If you want to see street performances or magic shows, you can pay a visit to Covent Garden. If you like to enjoy the view of the city, you should definitely take a ride on the London Eye, the tallest Ferris wheel in Europe!//php print_r($node); ?>
